Official Contest RulesWhat can I win? At the conclusion of the contest period the Grand Prize Winner will receive a check for $2,500.00. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced at a Gala, September 24, 2009, at the Mobile Arts Council.How do I enter? To enter you must purchase one “Look Up Mobile!” TM Photo book for $25.00, fill out the entry form in the back of the book and correctly identify all 25 “photo locations”, and return the entry form to the Mobile Arts Council Office, 318 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL, 36602, before 12 noon, Saturday, September 12, 2009. Only one entry is allowed per individual.Who is eligible to participate? Subject to the additional restrictions below, the “Look Up Mobile!” TM Photographic Landmark Hunt (Hereafter referred to as the Hunt) is open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees and Members of the Board of Directors of South Alabama CARES (“Sponsor”), photographers whose work is exhibited in the “Look Up Mobile!” TM Photo Book, and the immediate family members of and any persons domiciled with any such employees, photographers, or board members are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.How can I win? The entrant that has identified all 25 locations correctly will be awarded the Grand Prize.. If more than one entry has all the correct answers, the field of correct entries will be entered into a public drawing on September 24, 2009, to determine the Grand Prize Winner. One entry drawn from this field of correct entries will be the Grand Prize Winner. All individuals in the field of correct entries will be notified to attend the drawing. Winner is not required to be present for the drawing. If the prize winner is not in attendance, he/she will be notified by U.S. mail (certified/return receipt) and will have two weeks from postmark to claim his/her prize at the offices of the Mobile Arts Council. The prize will not be mailed. If the prize is not claimed in two weeks for whatever reason it will be forfeited to the sponsor.How Can I Request the Winner’s Name? For the name of the winner (available after September 24, 2009) send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “Look Up Mobile!” TM Landmark Photo Location Hunt, P.O. Box 40296, Mobile, Alabama, 36640. For the name of the winner or a copy of these Official Rules visit www.lookupmobileonline.org, www.southalabamacares.org, or www.mobilearts.org after September 24.What other terms apply? Winner may waive his/her right to receive a prize. Prize is non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions are allowed. Winner is solely responsible for reporting prize money as 2009 income to the Internal Revenue Service.ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.No individual may enter the Hunt more than once. By submitting the entry form to the Hunt, you agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of these Official Rules. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, do not submit an entry.Laws of the City of Mobile and the State of Alabama apply when searching for locations of “landmarks.” Please respect personal property, traffic safety and personal safety laws. No individuals or teams should put anyone in jeopardy of injury.By entering, participants release and hold harmless South Alabama CARES, Inc., its officers, board of directors, employees, or agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Hunt contest or any prize.Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or unreadable entries due to the U.S. postal service or otherwise. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest and/or any entry that does not comply with these rules.Except where prohibited, participation in the Hunt constitutes each contestant’s consent to the publication of his or her name, likeness, city and state of residence and biographical information in any media, including, without limitation, the Internet, for any promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Prize not won and claimed by an eligible winner in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Contest judges designated by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Hunt, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Hunt Contest. Should the Hunt Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prize based on the entries received before the termination date. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
